Still taking the tablets…

A procession

There will be a procession today as the Queen’s coffin will be moved from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall where it will be lying in state until the funeral on Monday.

A long way

Ukraine has taken back quite a lot of ground which is really heartening. Long may it continue. A long way to go so I wish them luck.

Another week

Another week until the Queen’s funeral. It is very sad and was quite a shock when it happened but I must admit it will be nice when everything goes back to normal.

Leaving Balmoral

The Queen’s coffin is leaving Balmoral soon on her journey down south to London. It is very interesting to see the making of history and very sad but I would like to know what else is going on in the world.

Trip to London

I am very tired after my trip to London but I should catch up on sleep soon.

Very sad!

I met with most of my sisters for lunch yesterday. It was really nice to see them. We were on our way back from London when I heard about the Queen. Very sad!

Don’t know why

I watched Prime Minister’s Questions yesterday as usual but this was the first one with the new Prime Minister. Oh dear… don’t know why I thought it might be better!

Twelve years

We have a new government and we will have to wait and see what they do but we mustn’t forget that the Tories have been in power for around twelve years.

Or could she?

So Boris said goodbye this morning. Goodness knows what Liz Truss will be like but she couldn’t be much worse than him… or could she?

An end

So we will hear at 12.30 today who the next Prime Minister will be. This leadership campaign has gone on for months so thank goodness it is coming to an end. There’s so much to be done.
