I took my wrist support off yesterday mid afternoon and as I was doing okay left it off overnight. This morning it hurt like crazy so I put it back on again. I tried to take it off a little while ago but it hurt so I think I have given up on it for today. The doctor had told me to continue with the support for as long as it needed it.

I am very tired this morning – lots to do but too weary to do any of it – it will all have to wait!

I have just got back from the hospital where I found out that the problem with my wrist was the ligament which had popped out and now popped back in again. It might keep happening so I might need surgery.

I didn’t get to sleep until late and saw Kamala Harris and Tim Walx speaking. I am really hopeful that they will save the USA from a backward step. Amongst all the other things I am a firm believer that every woman should be able to access abortion and that every child should be a wanted child.

If you have ever wondered how Hitler got away with it and if it could ever happen again – he had a whole Propaganda Department deciding what and how to tell the population – just like we have our Spin Doctors and we must make sure it never happens again!

So the far right has reared its ugly head again with rioting and attacks on places where immigrants might be and the police. I’m afraid as long as we give airtime to the far right on our televisions and now in parliament this is going to happen over and over again. Although it is important that we know what they are up to.

First Sunday without my political programmes that I usually watch as they all go on holiday for the Summer recess. I don’t know what I am going to do with myself or how I shall get through until September but, l will, of course.

Not quite awake yet but a dear friend is coming to help me with returning an item which is much too big any minute now. I am just having a second coffee and will try to wake up!

I went to A and E yesterday as directed by 111. The x-rays didn’t show a fracture but there’s one fracture which doesn’t show for a week or so. So they made me an appointment to go to the Fracture Clinic around then for further x-rays. It’s also possible that I have injured the tendon. Whatever l have done it’s very painful.

I am finding everything a little difficult at the moment with my right hand being sort of out of action. Everything takes three times as long. I have just sorted out my meds for the day and taken my morning tablets. I don’t know which is more difficult – opening those little pots or removing from the foil but sorting out my tablets is painful at the moment.
