It is hardly surprising that the NHS staff went out on strike and that so many are still out on strike. It is time that the government stopped playing games and sorted it out.

It is lovely to have a bank holiday weekend even when you don’t go out to work. It means l will have a lie in which I don’t normally do on a Monday. What I don’t know is whether it is another one the following weekend for King Charles lll coronation. I have something arranged for the following Monday.

The delivery guys were very nice and friendly and helpful and took the fridge freezer which made my day and then my friend came in the evening and we had a take away. It was really nice to see her and I had a lovely time. I am still very tired though.

So they are supposed to take away my old fridge freezer this morning. The doors are off so I hope they will still take it.

My new fridge freezer arrived. The two men said they couldn’t get the old one out of the kitchen and they left me with two. My lovely neighbour called in the troops and they sorted it all out between them. Wonderful! I am exhausted!

I was aware that some people seem to need less sleep as they get older. When it started happening more often to me I wondered if it had anything to do with alcohol or something but that doesn’t seem to have anything to do with it. I think it’s just when I have something on my mind. I can think right back to me being wide awake whilst everyone else appeared to be asleep.

I had a really nice day yesterday. My friends came and we spent quite a few hours together. Their wedding day is coming up soon and I think they are quite excited. What a lovely couple!

I have a very good friend coming and we will order in food. It’s a good opportunity for me and her partner to get to know each other. What a lovely way to spend the time.

My fridge freezer is over 20 years old and has started to play up l think. Sometimes making strange noises and my smart meter shooting up. So I have ordered a new one which is quite stressful as it’s a big item. My friends have rallied around and been very helpful where they could.

I had my hair cut yesterday. I have gone from longish hair to a wavy bob. I keep going to flick my hair over my shoulder and it’s not there. Haha!
