Woke up

I headed up for bed around nine feeling tired but ended up discussing NHS in Tory hands on my phone. Then tried to get to sleep but no luck. So I’m up again and probably won’t sleep tonight.

Mother’s Day

I was so tired yesterday which was Mother’s Day. My phone started going ding at 8.20 and I was trying to catch up with sleep. It was lovely that other people were up and awake and wanting to wish good greetings but I wasn’t too pleased. Never mind, they meant well.

Something new

My tablet had died and I spent yesterday trying my new one. It is very difficult for me to learn something new. It’s not that my memory doesn’t work but I find it very difficult to concentrate. So it’s very slow and tiring.

Delicious

I woke up early this morning and I realised that I wasn’t going back to sleep. I was worrying about all sorts of things so got up. My early coffee – absolutely delicious.

A luxury!

I have a mesh basket and two ceramic mugs with lids so I can have breakfast in bed on a Sunday in front of my little television. What a luxury!

Occupational Therapist

An Occupational Therapist battled through the snow blizzard to get to me yesterday. She was brilliant and took my temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate and oxygen levels which I wasn’t expecting and she was very thorough. They are going to put a handrail near the stairs which is close to where I fell.
