I saw a programme I had recorded last night about the beginning of the Holocaust. It showed that as the Nazis spread throughout the Soviet Union it wasn’t only the Nazis who were complicit with the killing of Jewish people but that the neighbours of these poor people helped round them up and watched them being shot in Lithuania and possibly elsewhere.

I am mentally constipated today. Completely void of all imaginative thoughts. Absolutely nothing to say for myself… is this the beginning of the end?… Mind you I have been here before. This empty mind is something I have had years of… I still take quite an amount of antipsychotics although less than before.

Listening to the Chancellor trying to promote his party and Brexit this morning. I know a lot of people have short memories but I don’t think that they will forget anytime soon.

More countries are promising better tanks for Ukraine – the problem is how soon can they get them there and how soon can their technologies be taught?. And how many more tanks can we all offer?

I have another slight sore throat this morning but it seems to come on every time I have white crusty bread. I don’t know why!

I woke up early this morning and couldn’t get back to sleep so I got up. I should finish the envelope stuffing today which is a good feeling. But I will wait and see!

I hope Germany will give permission for their tanks to go to Ukraine. That would make all the difference.

I couldn’t get to sleep last night so I have got up and dressed and in the sitting room watching television. Might watch some recorded programmes. I might feel sleepy later.

I am on go slow today. Not out of choice – just the way I am. I am just going to rest from the envelope stuffing until Monday – thank goodness!

I am really tired today with back pain as I am not used to working flat out but it feels good to be doing something useful. I intend to work today. Envelope stuffing is something I have done a long time ago in my past.
