My knee
January 18th, 2023 | Deirdre | Diary
I have visitors coming this morning so I am really pleased that I managed to wake up. My knee is still hurting from where I fell quite a few weeks ago now but hopefully it will sort itself soon.
Overslept
January 17th, 2023 | Deirdre | Diary
I have overslept this morning and discovered it is -4 degrees here in Norwich. It might get even colder. I will try and sort myself out.

Window cleaner
January 12th, 2023 | Deirdre | Diary
I have a fairly new window cleaner but he hasn’t been for several months. I was very surprised to see him this morning. My new neighbour asked me to get him to knock when he next comes which he did but there was no reply.
Working flat out
January 11th, 2023 | Deirdre | Diary
Meetings took place between government and unions. They were apparently asked if they could work harder like something from a Charles Dickens’ novel. I believe the NHS staff when they say they are exhausted from working flat out.
Going to sack
January 10th, 2023 | Deirdre | Diary
Are they really going to sack nurses and paramedics and others if they go on strike? We really can’t allow that! What can we do?
