I couldn’t get to sleep last night as I was thinking about ordering Covid tests and whether or not I could get free ones. In the end I got up and came downstairs and discovered I would have to pay for them and where to go. Eventually I got to sleep.

Are we really going to have to put up with this Tory lot for another two years. I suppose we are. They can still do a load more harm. At least they’re not selling Channel 4 – I have always thought they would sell their own Mothers if anyone wanted them.

My ears are quite a bit better but my cough is just as bad. My mouth, which was also sore, is much better too. I wish I didn’t get tired so quickly though. The Labour Party asked me to do some stuff and I asked for another week to get over this bug.

Well I take that back as I now believe that NCIS will be shown on regular television a little further down the line. I will keep my fingers crossed.

I have just discovered that they are making a new series of NCIS but if you want to continue watching it you have to pay for a new channel. It’s a bloody cheek. They are going to do that with Neighbours and probably lots of other programmes. They don’t seem to care about regular viewers.

I changed my earrings the other day and now my ears are really sore especially my right one. I am now bathing them in warm salty water which is helping.

I feel really rotten again this morning. I have things to do today so had better get on with it.

It is terrible what had been done to the NHS. Years of austerity have brought it to its knees. The bloody Tories don’t care – they want to turn it into a USA style health care system and they all have private health care anyway.

I am a bit slow at getting myself sorted this morning which is a Bank Holiday. Everything should get back to normal this week even if it’s just the programmes on the television.

I wish everyone a very happy New Year (even though I feel like rubbish and my son and his partner do too).
