So we will hear at 12.30 today who the next Prime Minister will be. This leadership campaign has gone on for months so thank goodness it is coming to an end. There’s so much to be done.

Whichever Tory leadership candidate becomes Prime Minister it looks like it will be for around two years at least. Heaven help us!

Somebody I love has been very poorly and it has been very difficult to think about anything else. Hopefully she will be better soon.

I have just booked myself in for a flu jab. Apparently I will be offered a Covid jab later in the month.

I have been busy this morning and now finding it difficult to do my normal tasks like doing my Qigong and going for a walk. Oh well!

So Mikhail Gorbachev has died. From memory, he did such a lot to build relations between Russia and the West and brought an end to the Cold War and the old Soviet Union. We could do with another Russian President like that.

I have double booked an appointment at the surgery. It’s not the sort of thing I do and very stupid of me but hopefully it won’t be too difficult to change.

It’s a Bank Holiday today so I got up late. Nobody is working so it’s a bit like another Sunday. I tried the surgery just in case they were open but they’re not. Just a lazy day!

I haven’t slept-in this late for a very long time. I have been feeling really tired. On mornings like this I really appreciate the taste of my mug of coffee… Heaven!!

I know that Boris Johnson is a populist like Donald Trump. I don’t know much about them and the only other one I know is Adolf Hitler and we all know what happened there.
