Why is it l am awake and refreshed at 2.00 am but tired and groggy when I wake again around 8.00. I feel like I have had only a little sleep – well maybe I have!

I have only been awake for a little while and wondering if I can nod off again for a few hours. Sky News are telling me that the Prime Minister might be changing his mind about cutting the welfare bill but, if so, who will he hit to find the money they need. Hopefully not the pensioners!

Don’t know why I am so tired these days – probably because of the sleep I have missed – I am probably too old for it! My friend sent me a picture of outside her house in France this morning – everything covered in snow – she was sitting outside in the sun a week ago!

There was a problem with the grocery app and I had difficulty sorting out my next order but all seems to be working now. Brilliant!

Well I managed to get some sleep after trying to sort out a grocery order but there seems to be something wrong with their website. I tried several times and then gave up and went to sleep. Now that I’m up and dressed feeling really tired now. Much worse than earlier.

So, awake again. Having woken up l decided to order some stuff that I need and now, wide awake but tired l am wondering what comes next. Perhaps lie down and see what happens or maybe get up and dressed and head for the coffee. Perhaps watch the news and see! Yawn!

Glad to hear that USA have, at long last, sorted out their problems with Ukraine. We will have to wait and see what Russia does next!

I thought I would start taking off my wrist support and see how I get on. If it starts hurting then I’ll reverse that decision.

I had great difficulty in getting up this morning. I kept turning over but my shoulder pain was giving me a break and I am so tired. Last night I discovered that I had an unopened tube of Voltarol within date and it works like magic. Absolute heaven!

I did manage to get some more sleep and I’m now enjoying my breakfast in bed and just taken my much needed painkillers which do help although I wish that I had something stronger in the house.
