When you have a sore mouth which l have since the dentist last week, it’s very difficult to do anything without being distracted. I have a new lining in my lower denture which has been rubbing my poor sore mouth but the dentist said to persist and I am trying to do that.

So I tried to sleep for three hours and now find myself up and dressed and downstairs watching television. I have to be up early today anyway so I suppose I could say a bit earlier than planned.

It does annoy me when members of the Tory Party start advising what the Labour government should be doing. In a democracy they are perfectly within their rights but they made such a mess l think a little humility might be a good thing.

I went to bed with a slight pain where my left breast joins my side but I was so tired that I slept like a log. The same slight throbbing pain but it comes and goes so I will give it time whilst I get up etc.

It’s looking like a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas but we have been here before. We will just have to wait to hear.

I am pleased l woke early. I have just had a bath and washed my hair and brought breakfast back to bed. I have things to do and hopefully will be organised when my visitor comes in a matter of hours. I can always have a lie in tomorrow.

I knew I was very tired but have someone coming fairly soon and a busy morning but I have to be up early again tomorrow. It’s always difficult to wake up especially when I have people coming. I don’t know how I used to get up for work.

I feel at a loss this morning. I woke early and for the next couple of hours or so l was doing sums regarding my finances and trying to work out what to do about it. I think that I have worked it out but these kind of things can be very worrying.

I have had a bit of a clear out and my friend is coming later who would like my box of assorted mugs and breakfast plates and stuff that I no longer use. It’s a very good feeling.

For the past however many months I have been watching ‘The Brokenwood Mysteries’ on the television. They are set in New Zealand and I really love them and have found that many of my friends and family do too.
