I have breakfast in bed on a Sunday whilst watching Sophie Ridge on Sky News. I record Laura Kuenssberg on BBC1. They quite often have exactly the same guests on both… very strange.

I have been having counselling for the past few months and I am finding it very helpful. I am free to discuss anything which is troubling me with no taboos so far. He is what he describes as a ‘lapsed catholic’ and of Irish heritage so he knows where l am coming from. And he knows about rape and child molestation. Very helpful.

It’s about time that public sector workers received fair pay and conditions. They look after the rest of us and should be paid accordingly.

It’s shocking what the government and the railway companies want to do with the railways. I am one of those who needs assistance if I do a rail journey although I am not so sure that I will ever do that again. The unions will need public support if they are to fight it.

The opposite happened last night. I slept like a log and I was having a dream this morning about clearing out my wardrobe of all the clothes that had been recommended by Russia. I ended up with an empty wardrobe. Then I awoke and found l was running very late. What a daft dream!

I couldn’t get to sleep last night so came downstairs. Having watched the Press Preview several times I caught a few hours on the sofa. Really tired this morning.

I had a lovely day yesterday. My sister came and we ordered in a Sunday roast and had a really good catch up. It was really nice to see her!

I had family coming today and we were going to eat out to celebrate my birthday but my son has a poorly tummy. But still one of my sisters is coming. I am looking forward to seeing her. So l still have family coming.

There has been a problem with my broadband for the past few weeks. I have had no historical emails for most of that time and had problems receiving any sometimes off and on. Getting a bit fed up with it now and certainly worried that they won’t be able to return them in the end.

My friend and neighbour took me out for afternoon tea yesterday. I had never had afternoon tea before. It was really nice and I was very stuffed and ended up bringing lots of it home with me!
