I have a rotten chesty cough today. Phoned the surgery and when the doctor phoned me back he said a home visit would be arranged. I let slip “oh you angel, thank you “ without thinking.

What a day today! My back is really hurting and things are very difficult. The bath chair lift isn’t working so far but I haven’t given up on it yet!

A bath chair lift is coming today. I am not sure if I am completely covered as they means test for things as well as long term loan for poorer people. But I will soon find out.

I’m feeling another improvement today. Pretty sure I didn’t have a stroke. I am watching this week’s EastEnders programmes. The Carer who is currently coming in twice a day will be back in an hour. Things seem to be better on these new morphine pills. They are half the strength.

I wasn’t sure what l have been doing- possibly had a mini stroke on Monday. So much l have forgotten like how to change channels on the television or what numbers the channels are. The carer has just been and finds me well. He has just left and it is snowing.

What a week! What a day! Lots of new things happening like a bath chair sometime soon. And Social Services seeing what else they can do to help me. Excellent!
