The doctor tells me that my albumen levels are low. It’s a liver enzyme apparently and means low protein. So more nuts, egg and dairy. She also said that my folic acid levels are normal but the low end of normal. So more bread, pasta, asparagus and mushrooms. So my diet needs tweaking. It doesn’t mean that I am going to be having bowls of steamed greens with my fish and chips, my chicken curry or my spaghetti Bolognese although I am happy to have a side salad with my pasta or pizza in the warmer weather.
