They are asking why people in Britain aren’t having more babies. It was years ago but l was forced back to full time work when my child was two. I wanted to stay at home and have another one but no, everything was stacked against me and working all day and looking after a child and knowing others had the pleasure of spending their time with my child whilst I was at work was heartbreaking. And not being able to have another one on top of everything else, yes it was heartbreaking. It used to be the case that a human mother would be able to rear her young but such a thing is no longer possible. It’s all so hard.
