Still taking the tablets…

Contraptions

If I can remember: I hope that I will call what some women wear on their feet as contraptions rather than shoes. To my belief – shoes should protect the wearer’s feet when they walk whereas the contraptions damage those feet. And I for one don’t think that fact is funny.

Oh dear!

Oh dear! Running late again.

Like a wreck

Well it’s gone 10.30 and I am just about to have breakfast. I haven’t yet had a bath, washed my hair or washed at all to be honest. In fact, I feel like a wreck. Oh well.

The creeps

I hate hair that is so short that it is bristles on the head or no hair at all. If there’s a real reason then I am sorry but self inflicted no, bristles on the head give me the creeps. And hair on the face really can compensate!

Delivered today!

My electric kettle has been taking longer and longer to start working. So much so that I have been expecting it not to start working at all. So I have now decided I can’t postpone buying one anymore. They cost less than l feared and hopefully will be delivered today!

Slept like a log

So because my health issues mean I have to keep my house at 21 degrees they said that they would try to get here as soon as possible. I was really relieved that they came pretty quickly and it was something they could fix straight away. Thank goodness. So last night I slept like a log.

Broken down

I was cold in bed and decided to check the radiator… cold!! Then I checked the boiler. A red light and a green light and stone cold. I came downstairs to check the paperwork. Hopefully they can fix it. I really can’t afford a new boiler right now. Then, of course, l was cold in bed and, as l have emphysema and asthma it was difficult to breathe and it seemed to be getting colder. So l got dressed and came downstairs and spent the night in the armchair. Waiting for the clock to reach daytime so l can sort it all out.

Very difficult

I am having a very busy week with lots of early mornings. I am finding it very difficult.

Window removed

I have a problem with a large piece of furniture that will possibly have to go to a workshop to be fixed. Ever since work was done in the front of the house I have been unable to get anything through the front door bigger than a human. It’s really annoying having to remove the front window every time.

One day at a time!

So it looks like a ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinians and the hostages still living handed back. One day at a time!
