Why Liz Truss still has her job is beyond me and listening to so many of her government who are still making excuses for her – that is beyond me too – and very annoying!

Because I am a mental health patient I get an annual check up at the doctors which is coming up relatively soon. I will take the opportunity to tell the doctor that I am sometimes having a problem with a chesty cough and problems breathing. Perhaps I need an antibiotic.

The Chancellor is cutting short his visit to the USA for urgent talks with the Prime Minister. Hopefully they will come up with something sensible.

Our finances are in a right mess. Ever since the so called ‘mini budget’ we have been in a right state. Perhaps the government could abandon it. Even King Charles is asking for a low cost coronation.

I went to the hospital yesterday. I will continue without going down the surgery route, hopefully long term.

So following the attack by Ukraine of the bridge linking Crimea and Russia the Russians have attacked several cities in Ukraine. Numbers of civilian deaths and injured are not known yet.

Ukraine has been doing so well recently against the Russians. Let’s all hope that this continues.

I have been feeling a bit rough. Negative test. Much better than I was yesterday morning. My house was cold for a few days and I might have caught a cold.I do get a chesty  cough when it’s cold.

I couldn’t understand why I was having such a problem with my heating but then I changed the batteries in my thermostat which I last did in February. Brilliant… great… wonderful! I have heat. Hopefully I will remember next time.

I have been feeling cold so I turned the heating up to 20.5 but bought a new room thermometer which arrived last night. It’s cold in here this morning – the radiators are cold and the thermometer says 19.9. I will keep watch and see how it plays out.
