Still taking the tablets…

Doesn’t seem right somehow!

Can we really not do anything about the war in Ukraine? I understand that we don’t want a third world war but someone somewhere must come up with something other than just watch fellow human beings being attacked. And all the others around the world like Gaza and parts of Africa. Doesn’t seem right somehow!

What a shame!

Why do most men conform and keep their hair short? And I am not just talking about the youngsters following a relatively new fashion. And if they let it grow a little people question it. What a shame!

Make them balance

When I see women on television wearing stupid shoes which make them balance on their toes they just look daft to me. I don’t know why they are doing such a ridiculous thing. They just look silly!

Excellent!

I have brought my breakfast upstairs to have in bed. An apricot live Activia yoghurt, a punnet of strawberries and two latte mugs of coffee with lids. Sky News on my little television and ten minutes before Trevor Phillips. I have taken my pills to be had before breakfast and I have brought my after meal pills with me – all wrapped up in a piece of kitchen roll. Excellent! It is also my wedding anniversary. I have been divorced many many years and he is now deceased but I reflect.

Gobbledegook

Oh dear, I do hate it when people start talking gobbledegook on the television. Especially when it’s on the News Channel. But I suppose it’s just another reminder of how gullible people can be.

Perhaps they do!

I wish they would stop bashing the Prime Minister – some media outlets have been at it since he took over. Do they really want to go back to the Tories – or, even worse, Reform. Perhaps they do!

Reasonable country

We seem to be taking a backward step with the resurgence of religious utterances mostly from USA. I get really disappointed when I hear encouragement for people to spend their time and energy trying to send messages to gods in the sky. I am only responsible for what I might do or say – and really pleased that I live in a fairly reasonable country when it comes to religious indoctrination.

Just woken up!

It’s around 8.30 and I have just woken up! I have someone coming in around fifteen minutes and I am nowhere near ready. I had better get a move on!

Labour Deputy Leadership

So they are reporting on the Labour Deputy Leadership Contest. I would support Dame Emily Thornberry if, as a Labour Party member, I had a vote.

Better late than never…

Well, that’s what they say. I wasn’t in a good way this morning and, after a bath, I spent the rest of the day reading my New Statesman and didn’t really think about much else. So, as I said – better late than never…
