Still taking the tablets…

CAR T-cell therapy

I watched a programme I had recorded on CAR T-cell therapy which has been described as the first step towards a cure for cancer. It was like the beginning of the end!

House of Lords

I believe that the government’s Withdrawal Agreement is not getting through the House of Lords as easily as they had thought. That won’t please the Prime Minister.

Overslept

I overslept this morning and then got up in a hurry. Just about to come downstairs when I saw the cat had thrown up on a cushion. More haste less speed!

The future

I don’t get a daily paper and if I did it would be The Guardian but from what I have heard Harry and Meghan have been given a hard time so I wish them very good luck in the future!

Heaven

Yesterday I had a wonderful Indian head massage in a one hour treatment including shoulders, upper back, neck and head which was a Xmas present from a very dear friend. Heaven!

British flag

Apparently in Brussels the British flag flying outside the European parliament will be lowered on Brexit day and put on permanent display at a museum of EU history funded by the taxpayer.

Angora rabbit

I saw a terrible thing on the television yesterday. It was the sight of a live angora rabbit being plucked in China. The poor thing. The man was harvesting her fur from her skin. It was disgusting!

Labour leader

I have wanted Keir Starmer to be the Labour leader for quite some time now so I am very glad he is doing so well.

Lily

Lily has been really spoilt since her sister died and yesterday she miaowed non stop because she didn’t like the food I gave her. So she miaowed continuously which really grated on my nerves. She ate all her food in the end!

The Prime Minister

I saw the Prime Minister in Downing Street this morning on the BBC. He really didn’t want to admit that he has just been on holiday.
