Still taking the tablets…

My senses

Again I followed parliament on TV – this time until I fell asleep. Didn’t wake until late and trying to come to my senses this morning.

Couldn’t sleep

I stayed up late to see what was happening in parliament and then couldn’t get to sleep so got up again about 3.30. I should sleep well tonight!

Vote today

What will happen over the next few days in Westminster? After the Prime Minister’s words last night – will the Tory rebels still support the opposition parties on the new legislation against no deal? I think they will vote today.

What a dictator!

I hear that Boris Johnson is going to sack everyone who disagrees with him – what a dictator! The complete opposite to Jeremy Corbyn who puts everything to a vote.

What now?

Michel Barnier has said “No” to removing the backstop. So this Prime Minister will, no doubt, go for leaving the European Union without a deal. Not that we didn’t know that already. So what now?

Cool night

I actually slept well last night – our first cool night here in East Anglia. I feel so tired this morning and didn’t want to get up.

Scaffolding

There is scaffolding up between my house and next door so I like to have my bath before the builders arrive for a days work. So far I have been successful!

Dread to think

So the government have suspended parliament for five weeks with the Queen’s agreement. Not that she had much of a choice. What will happen next I dread to think!

So spoilt!

That first, and only, mug of coffee of the day is like liquid heaven. I don’t wake up until I have it. So spoilt!

Wanting assurances

Jeremy Corbyn is campaigning to fight against a No deal Brexit. Other leaders are not so sure of his plan and wanting assurances that he will campaign to remain in EU. He is hoping to meet up with the other leaders today.
