I struggled to get up this morning and only just about functioning after not much sleep the night before. Hopefully I will wake up after breakfast!

I find myself downstairs again but this time I know how to turn the alarm off so if I fall asleep in the armchair my alarm upstairs won’t disturb my neighbours. So I can relax and know I will be up for the window cleaner who is probably coming early in the morning. Mind you I would rather be asleep in my bed but I’m making the best of a disappointing situation.

I am so very very tired. I have things happening this morning and people coming so I had to get up but I’m doing everything on go slow…

I’m really fed up with Tory MPs complaining on television about things that they would do if they were in power that they didn’t do during their fourteen years in power. They haven’t cared about abuse victims all those years and they’re bleating on now about the Labour Party who have the whole mess that the Tories left to sort out.

I tried to cancel an order late last night but I wasn’t quick enough and I have just found out it’s on its way. I will have to reconsider my options when it arrives.

I knew that I had to get up quickly this morning but I am so tired but I know there’s things to do early.

I find myself in the sitting room and wondering if I should go back upstairs and try to sleep having sorted out the problem that was on my mind during my earlier attempt.

We were warned that there would be snow overnight but I have just looked out and I can’t see any signs of that – just rain.

I think a certain politician should go to jail for inciting the riot where that mob charged into the Capital Building. He really does deserve it! But what do I know!

I have had a clear out of glasses and mugs which I have got too many of and I have just retrieved a cardboard box from my wheelie bin which I will have to tape back together again. I am hoping my dear friend S will take them to a charity shop for me.
