Still taking the tablets…

My sleep pattern

I felt pretty rough last night and I have only just got up. Feeling very tired as usual of late. I need to sort out my sleep pattern. I will take it easy today. I have just been asked to update this app and I clicked on it. Nothing looks as usual. I will see if this works.

A bit rough

I have been struggling a bit and very tired and then oversleeping and then playing catch up. My friend C took me to a pharmacy where they do walk in flu and Covid jabs and so l had them 4.30 yesterday. Then we went to a pub nearby and l had scampi and non alcoholic beer. Feeling a bit rough this morning and two sore arms.

Breakfast in bed

I really do enjoy having breakfast in bed on a Sunday. It always feels so decadent sitting in bed watching television in the morning. I used to have coffee in bed when I had a partner but not since then until I decided to have my Sunday breakfast in bed.

My breakfast

I completely overslept but being a Saturday l allowed myself to stay in bed just a while longer. I got up after 10.00 and sorted out my breakfast which I took into the sitting room. I was just about to eat when my mobile rang. It was my son and I had been hoping he’d phone for quite some time so l was happy to talk for quite a while. Eventually my landline started ringing so l answered it to one of my sisters who l haven’t spoken to for quite a while neither. It was quite a time later when I realised it was getting late and my curtains were still closed and my light on, my coffee was getting cold and I still hadn’t touched my breakfast. Finally I said goodbye and started my day.

My stairlift

My stairlift has felt like it was catching on something ever since it was serviced about a week ago and I managed to call them before I could talk myself out of it after all it might be something that could get worse. They came straight out and it was something minor which has been fixed. I am glad that I phoned though.

Oh dear!

Oh dear! I completely overslept. I didn’t sleep the night before because I was in pain and so I woke up this morning in a panic. I have things to be done. I was just hurriedly getting dressed when the window cleaner buzzed through on the video doorbell. Back in 20 minutes was what he said. So I rushed down (as much as one can with a stairlift) and unlocked the back gate. Just in time! Oh dear!

Hasn’t helped

I had my ring pessary replaced which is holding my uterus in place and this involved an internal as well as many attempts at inserting the new one. Whether that’s the reason I have been having a throbbing pain in that sort of region and have now given up on trying to get to sleep. I have taken some paracetamol which hasn’t helped so far.

A curry

I ordered in a curry last night. I knew it was an extravagance l can’t really afford at the moment but I have been wanting a vegetable curry for weeks and haven’t had a restaurant curry for a very long time. It was perfect and one of the most enjoyable meals I have had for ages.

Painful to wear

I have been watching the women presenters wearing their high shoes on television which I don’t really understand. I should tell myself that they are just old fashioned like one of my friends tells me but I think they warrant a documentary. These shoes are not only painful to wear but they actually disfigure the feet for later in life. The fact that we are taught that we should just accept that our feet are painful for the purpose of pleasing our men is ludicrous and it really pleases me to see our young women in comfortable shoes.

Back to normal

I seem to be back to normal this morning and about to tuck into breakfast in bed. I was really starting to worry and even checked up on diabetes symptoms last night but I managed to get up this morning without any problems.
