Still taking the tablets…

Fish and chips

My dear friend Z came around last night to celebrate her upcoming birthday. She brought fish and chips with her. I only ate one half of a portion of chips but I did eat all of my plaice including the batter. Really surprised that I haven’t put any weight on this morning especially as I had an ice cream afterwards.

Not feeling ready

I awoke around 1.00 and, not being able to get back to sleep, I came downstairs around 2.30. After watching programmes recently recorded l had breakfast and not feeling ready to face the day… oh well!

Thought better

I am looking forward to having my hair cut this morning. My fringe is much too long and fighting with my glasses. I was tempted to give it a bit of a trim myself but I thought better of it.

Ordering in

I couldn’t have my usual breakfast in bed like I do most Sundays. I am expecting a delivery sometime today. And my dear friend A is coming – we are ordering in a roast dinner to celebrate her birthday. It will be the first home delivery of a meal that I have had for weeks.

Never too late

It’s a real shame that the Israeli/Hamas war has started up again but I suppose inevitable. Perhaps something can be done… it’s never too late to talk!

Another night

So another night when I couldn’t get to sleep. I watched several programmes that I had recorded and now just had my breakfast. Hopefully I will sleep well tonight.

Cut my thumb

I cut my thumb on the silver foil whilst doing my tablets and although not a lot of blood it went all over my pills. Not a pretty sight! Ha!

Just got up!

I have completely overslept this morning… only just got up! People coming soon!

Tried everywhere

I went to order some more Fybogel and I tried everywhere. I couldn’t get any but a dear friend got the last box of a generic product with the same ingredients. Apparently there’s a supply problem. I have two weeks to get some more.

Nothing new

I gave up trying to get to sleep after three hours and came downstairs so another night awake whilst everyone else is asleep. Whether I should worry about this or accept that it is just one of those things. I can remember similar nights going right back to my childhood so nothing new.
