Still taking the tablets…

Myanmar

Shocking what has been happening in Myanmar. I feel for all those poor people. Like many other countries in the world – democracy and an end to conflict seems so far away.

Touch of OCD

I have been struggling with a slight touch of OCD for a year or so. When I put my Cod Liver Oil capsule jar back in the cupboard I have been trying to get the label straight with the cupboard. So a little to the right and then the left, adjusting it over and over. Since a chat with my Counsellor l have been concentrating on other things and leaving it be. Really difficult but working.

Too excited

I have a very good friend coming for lunch today – we are going to order in. She is very special and I am really looking forward to it. Besides catching up she is also going to help me with a technical thing. I would be lost without her and too excited to have breakfast in bed.

Chilled fresh water

I think I have a thing about water. I drink chilled filtered tap water throughout the day – it has to be my favourite drink. There are still so many people in the world who don’t have clean fresh water so I don’t like to waste any. Chilled fresh water… yummy!

Second jobs

There was an item on TV about our MPs second jobs and the average rates of pay. Crazy. In the main MPs should do their jobs properly in which case they wouldn’t have time for second jobs.

Postponed

My chiropodist was going to come today but I was informed yesterday afternoon that they are doing the road surface today and she wouldn’t be able to park. So we have postponed.

Awful!

There was another item on Fentanyl on the television this morning. These ‘zombie’ drugs are really having a terrible effect on people in the USA. The number of deaths is also dreadful. Awful!

Could doze

I have been sat here for about half an hour. I suppose it’s too early for breakfast so perhaps I should be having another attempt to sleep. But I tried all of that for ages before I got up. Perhaps I could doze again.

I woke up

I woke up at 3.33am, went to the loo and got a drink. I was aware that the builders are coming in a few hours so I cleared things away and prepared for an early breakfast and a quick bath when it is a little later. I was worrying about waking up in time so it’s amazing how things work out in the end.

Strange

I have breakfast in bed on a Sunday whilst watching Sophie Ridge on Sky News. I record Laura Kuenssberg on BBC1. They quite often have exactly the same guests on both… very strange.
