I now have a personal alarm. So if I push the button on my wrist or have a fall they will be alerted. They will speak to me over the unit. If that doesn’t work they will phone me. If they still don’t get me they now have four of my friends they can phone. And if that doesn’t work they will send the emergency services.

I woke up just after 1.00am wanting a wee and I had so much on my mind about the things to do today. So many things to do this morning so I got up and I am working my way through them.

I had a wonderful dream. I could still play the piano!

I am having a very busy week this week and possibly next. I wish I had got around to tidying the sitting room. My new friend and neighbour has offered to help me which would be great. Unfortunately she has tested positive but I wasn’t expecting her straight away anyway. I just lack the motivation myself at the moment!

I received a phone call from Social Services yesterday – I was surprised as it was a Sunday. She was very helpful and I am really glad that they got back to me. They are very busy but mostly very dedicated I believe.

The doctor tells me that my albumen levels are low. It’s a liver enzyme apparently and means low protein. So more nuts, egg and dairy. She also said that my folic acid levels are normal but the low end of normal. So more bread, pasta, asparagus and mushrooms. So my diet needs tweaking. It doesn’t mean that I am going to be having bowls of steamed greens with my fish and chips, my chicken curry or my spaghetti Bolognese although I am happy to have a side salad with my pasta or pizza in the warmer weather.

I have been taking hefty amounts of antipsychotics for the past forty years. Most of those years my life was quite unbearable but a lot better these days. Still taking quite a bit but nothing by comparison.

Busy morning so far. I overslept and then, after breakfast, had a bath and washed my hair. Landline rang during that. Just investigating that when there was a knock at the door – would I like to replace my windows. Then a scam call on my phone. After all of that my blood pressure was really good. I can’t explain it.

I have been taking my blood pressure at home for the doctors. It really isn’t too good. I take it twice each time and the second time is always lower but even still!

We are trying to set up bin assistance for me. I have never had so much trouble. It is early days but this week they didn’t empty either bin. Trying to work out what to do next with the Council but the emails are absolutely no help. I think I am going to have to phone again.
