I have been on antipsychotics for forty years or so with a few breaks in the early years. For the most part they have not only stopped my periods (pre menopausal) but also stopped me having any sexual feelings so I really feel completely cheated. I sometimes wonder if that was intentional but probably just ignorance.

I had planned to have a lie in as it’s a bank holiday today but if you can’t get to sleep then it’s a bit difficult. Haha – oh well!

I usually have breakfast in bed on a Sunday but I have visitors coming this morning. On reflection, I probably could have managed it but I am up now!

I have seen ants coming into my toilet again which is bordering on the garden. My respect for life doesn’t go as far as ants l am afraid so I put down an ant killer thing. Last night it was full so I put down another one. Horrid.

I completely overslept this morning so in a bit of a rush. I didn’t sleep at all the night before so slept like a log last night.

I am so excited about the news that neuroscientists and neurosurgeons have re-established communication between brain and spinal cord in a paralysed person who is now able to walk again. What a brilliant time to be alive.

I don’t know how Russia can just announce that they have taken one City or another in Ukraine. They have invaded the place so there’s nothing good about it!

I have been worrying about what on earth I would do if I can’t have a stairlift fitted – l am still waiting to hear from them. I really can’t afford a bungalow. My dear neighbour talked with me about the possibility of turning the dining room into my bedroom. Certainly worth thinking about!

I didn’t fall asleep until sometime around one so I’m very tired today. I have so much going around in my head at the moment – especially in the quiet of night. Even with my television on (it’s even harder with it off!).

It looks like Sinn Fein has done well in the local elections in the North of Ireland. I don’t think the DUP will take it very well.
