Still taking the tablets…

A cold

I had a bit of a cold yesterday and, so far, I don’t feel too bad today but I will wait and see. I haven’t been up very long.

A sprinkling

I have woken up to a sprinkling of snow. Probably very slippery outside.

Homeless

It must be awful to be without heat whilst it’s snowing or really cold outside. I have been fretting about my heating as my sitting room is 18.8 even though the thermostat is set at 21 degrees. So I really feel sorry for those with no power or, even worse, homeless.

Somehow!

I had a lovely dream this morning. I don’t remember much of it but I know I had one brown wall in the sitting room which attracted butterflies and I was showing my son a beautiful blue and pink one which had come in – we seemed to be open to the outside somehow!

Roast dinner

I ordered in a roast dinner yesterday. Something I haven’t done for ages. It’s not done much for my weight loss regime but it was a real treat.

Had enough!

The doctors are talking about going on strike too. After 12 years of austerity it is hardly surprising people have had enough!

My neighbour

My neighbour came last evening with fish and chips which was really nice. It doesn’t do much for my weight loss efforts but not too bad. I will have to be good today etc.

Very cold

Well there’s no snow today but it’s very cold. My hair is wet because I washed it this morning and I tend to leave it to dry by itself even though it’s cold.

Snow

I have woken up to snow and my sitting room isn’t very warm. The snow isn’t very deep I don’t think and the sun is out so it will probably clear quite soon.

Calcium tablets

For quite a long time now I have been taking iron tablets twice a day and calcium plus vitamin D3 tablets twice a day as well. Problem was they had to be taken four hours apart so my day had to be regimented to do that. I now have a different calcium tablet once a day and what a big difference to my regime.
