Will the window cleaner come today? No rain so far but I hear thunder.

Today is Ukraine’s Independence Day. It is a shame that it is not safe enough for their people to celebrate. Hopefully it will be by next year.

Now a young girl has been fatally shot. When it’s not a shooting it’s a stabbing. Things have definitely got worse in my lifetime. I don’t know what the answer is but something needs to be done.

Labour have a clear lead over the Tories. I wonder how long we will have to wait for this to happen.

My son and his partner came to visit and brought pizzas with them which went into the oven. They helped with all sorts of things which needed doing and were done over the internet. That was really good of them. Probably the last visit until around Xmas.

It is ridiculous that at the moment we have no government. The Tories who are supposed to be in power are still having their leadership contest and nothing else is happening. There’s so much to sort out like the cost of living. Really stupid!

I am running late but can’t wait to jump in a shallow bath and wash my hair.

The builders have finished. The front of the house white work has been given a lick of paint – more than I had expected and it looks lovely. Now I just have to pay for it.

When I see preachers on the television from whatever religion l wonder how they can show their faces. They peddle their stuff to the vulnerable and fill their heads with rubbish. Really unforgivable!!!

The builders are coming today. Part of my path in the back garden has sunk an inch or two and needs an investigation. Hopefully it is nothing really bad and they can just rectify it.
