My son and his partner came for a few hours yesterday. They brought lunch which they cooked and a Hotel Chocolat egg and light bulbs and batteries for me. It was all very good of them. I have tried to do this post several times and hope that it will publish this time.

It is a significant time in many different religions so much so that some of them are fighting. Glad I am well out of it. Nice to have bank holidays though and I love chocolate!

My broadband supplier had now told me that my monthly bill will go right down to less than I was paying before. Excellent!

I was so tired last night and slept right through until this morning. I can’t seem to get going though!

I woke up about an hour ago to go to the loo and just couldn’t get back to sleep so I have now come downstairs and put on Sky News where they are talking about the Prime Minister and partygate. Several hours until breakfast.

I spoke with my broadband supplier and I removed one service from my package. She said that made my monthly bill £10 more so she said she would speak with her Manager and phone me back which she didn’t do. I received an email confirming the increase. I will phone them again.

I received a phone call on Saturday from my broadband supplier – I hate it when they call – they are always a headache and I always consider the alternatives. I worried about it all weekend including when I should be sleeping.

I felt a bit poorly this morning so I did a lateral flow test which was negative. Now having some breakfast and will see how I am. I no longer have a sore throat so it is probably nothing. No temperature. I will see.

Sanctions on Russia don’t seen to be stopping their war on Ukraine. I mean what would Hitler have done?. I think we need to have a rethink although I also don’t want to see a World War three.
