I had forgotten that the doctor was going to ring me this morning – I thought that had been cancelled. She wants me to do a week’s blood pressure readings in a month’s time which is fine.

I don’t know if I can get away with leaving a message but I have two things to report to my doctor. I have been feeling very tired and this morning a little light headed but I have only been taking one of the two iron tablets prescribed (with her blessing) and secondly my ankles are still swollen. I am very busy today.

I read on my phone this morning that there is a fire at the pipeline that takes oil from Russia into Europe. Oh dear!

Thank goodness that the far right didn’t get the Presidential seat in France yesterday but the number of people who voted for her is very worrying.

I watched most of the 3 hour Press Conference with the Ukrainian President last evening. I find it very difficult to accept that there is nothing that we can do apart from supplying weapons.

We have a new teacher at the Diabetes Prevention Programme that I am on. She will take some getting used to.

Should there be a vote on the Prime Minister now or wait until after the investigations. I don’t know that there is a lot of difference as long as there is one.

I have completely overslept this morning and things to do very soon. Ugh!

I feel so badly about what had been happening in Ukraine. I know the Russians are lied to about what is going on and what percentage of the population knows the truth we do not know. We can just hope for something good to happen like an end to Putin.

I had a lovely lie in until just before 9.00 this morning. It is really nice to have a Bank Holiday. Now I am trying to get going.
