I weighed myself this morning. I know it’s a mad thing to do the day after Boxing Day but I thought that I had lost weight. No… No… I have put loads on. Oh dear!

My son and his partner came yesterday. They brought gifts and food and the will to cook it. We had a lovely meal and they washed the dishes and bled my radiators before they continued on their travels. A really nice day.

Christmas Eve so we are nearly there. I am not a Christian but I was brought up Roman Catholic. I no longer believe all that stuff but I was brought up to celebrate this time of year and there has been celebrating this time of year long before the Christians hijacked it. So I celebrate too.

So we are all wondering if the government is going to bring in stricter measures before Xmas and especially a lockdown. We will just have to wait and see.
In hospital
