Still taking the tablets…

Stringent measures

We are going to have to bring in more stringent measures if we want to halt the growth in hospital admissions. Sage says delaying until 2022 would greatly reduce the effectiveness of any interventions.

Restart

My son told me to restart my computer and that did the trick. Thank goodness. I had been thinking the worst. As for the fact that he has been poorly – he got a negative result from his PCR test.

The expert

My computer died last night. Whether it’s fixable I have to wait to find out. My son works in computers and he is the expert although he is still poorly so I might have to wait.

In a pickle!

Oh dear – the Prime Minister is in a pickle! About time. What will happen next?

Serious programmes

I watch women newsreaders and presenters wearing their daft shoes on the news programmes and I am so busy wondering whether they are forced to wear them that I miss the content of the programme and they are quite serious programmes so it seems incredibly stupid to be wearing them.

Have to do

Getting through the morning routine of ‘have to do ‘ things like several trips to the loo, making and eating breakfast sorting out all my meds is getting more and more difficult. Mind you today I had some extra chores to do as well.

Difficult times

It is all very worrying. When anyone you are close to falls ill then one thinks the worst and hopes for the best. Difficult times.

Wait and see!

The new variant – Omicron – is more transmissible than the others. But we are hearing it might be a milder disease and nobody globally has died from it. So we shall have to wait and see!

Strange times

It is so pleasing when you hear that those you care about get a negative PCR result. Even those who are close to someone you care about. Strange times.

Been bleeding

I went to see a doctor yesterday as I have been bleeding. She prescribed some hormone cream and if the bleeding persists then we will have to think again.
