The dentist has spent quite some time adjusting my new dentures and they are a lot more comfortable now but I don’t know if it is just my mouth that is sore or if the dentures are still not quite right yet.

My new dentures are hurting. I have replaced them with my old ones and will have to go back to see the dentist!

My cleaner came this week and made up my bed. She hadn’t been for a fortnight because her daughter had Covid. I had been fighting with my duvet. Last night I had such a good sleep… heaven!

The light bulb in my sitting room has died. Everybody tells me not to go up a ladder and Sam is coming today thankfully. I am sure she will be happy to do it.

My first drink of the day which is always coffee is absolutely wonderful… completely delicious… The rest of the day I drink chilled filtered water which I also love but not as much as that first drink!

We were messaging on the phone and one of the people started to talk about someone and I had no idea who she was talking about. I tried to think about it but had no idea so forgot about it. Hours later it came up again and I said I have no idea. Turns out she was referring to a character in a book. I mean how obscure is that?… who does that?… I would never have thought of that…

They are now saying that Plan B is even closer now. Whatever they call it people should be wearing masks. We always seem to be waiting for the government to make their minds up.

Not quite with it this morning. Never mind!

The government are still saying that we have to live with Covid and nothing extra needs doing apart from having the vaccine. Many others including me are not so sure about that and would like to see at least mask wearing again. Numbers are going up.

I have been hearing about young women who have been needle spiked in nightclubs. Sounds terrible. There doesn’t seem to be much you can do to protect yourself.
