I woke up around 1.20 and stayed awake for a couple of hours. So I am very tired now. Trying to see what is happening on the BBC but not really managing it. Perhaps later!

Not only did I go back upstairs and change into long sleeves but I also turned the heating on. I don’t know how long for!

My friend was going to visit with fish and chips this evening but several contacts of her family have got Covid so we have changed out plans. So we shall talk with her coming no nearer than the gate this morning. I think I might need a hoodie.

Apparently the army might be sent in to restock petrol stations most of which have run dry. They say until the foreign lorry drivers start coming in. But what foreign drivers would want to come here on a short 3 months contract? And the working conditions aren’t good neither. And we need 100,000 not 5,000. Hopeless!

I felt okay first thing this morning but the more I cough and move about the more the pain is increasing again. I think the pain must be muscular which my son had suggested.

I have woken up with a chest that hurts when I cough. I sent a sample of sputum to the surgery yesterday in time for it to be sent to the hospital. So, if I can, I will wait and see what that shows, if anything.

If anyone suggests that the mess we are in has anything to do with Brexit then the government won’t accept it. Something to do with the time that has elapsed.

I read that Wuhan scientists might have been responsible for the pandemic. I had heard suggestions of it before but this was even more pointed. Maybe we will never know the truth.

I saw it on the news on my phone this morning that Boris has six children plus one due quite soon – seven children. Doesn’t he know the planet is overpopulated!

I have been waiting several weeks for a telephone appointment with my doctor but I am now wondering whether I still need the appointment. Should I cancel it now and call again if I should need to. Or wait a little longer?
