Still taking the tablets…

New guidelines

Apparently there are new rules regarding the Indian variant areas in England. People should meet outside not indoors and try not to travel in or out of these areas. But why did the government not announce these new guidelines…

The builders

The builders said they would come today so I got up fairly sharpish. If it rains then they won’t come so I hope it will hold off until much later.

Listened out

I looked and listened out for the builders but didn’t find out they weren’t coming until the afternoon. It meant I was very tired especially on these pills. But I did manage a bath and washed my hair.

Coming through

I have a small amount of water coming through my bedroom ceiling near the window. I wish it would stop raining. The builders who did my roof are coming today.

A bath

I had planned to have a bath and wash my hair first thing but I am dizzy this morning and don’t think it would be sensible. I rang a dear friend who gave me permission to remain grubby so I will stick to washing.

Take it easy

I overslept this morning but I needed the extra sleep as I was awake late last night. Still a bit unsteady on my feet and I am not quite with it but possibly a bit better than I was. Must take it easy today.

Labyrinthitis

I became very dizzy and nauseous yesterday. A doctor rang me back and diagnosed labyrinthitis which is an ear infection. Tablets called Prochlorperazine were delivered in the afternoon. It looks like I am going to have to cancel everything until I feel a bit better.

As feared

There is quite a lot of concern about the Indian variant. It is believed that it will become the dominant variant and different ideas are being considered if it does spread as feared.

Negative again

I did another lateral flow test – negative again – thank goodness.

The sun

I don’t understand much about it but the sun is getting stormier. Apparently, after seven years of relative calm the sun is set to become more temperamental as it goes through it’s cycles of storm and slumber over the course of eleven years or so. It can affect our power grids and communication systems.
