Still taking the tablets…

Wait and see

It looks like we are all going to be able to hug and handshake from next week. I think a lot of us are going to be a bit nervous about it. But we will have to wait and see.

Indian variant

We are getting so close to getting out of lockdown and the Indian variant is getting so very worrying. But I suppose we are better off than many other countries.

Pangolins

I think that pangolins seem to be wonderful little creatures. It is very sad that they have been hunted to near extinction. Hopefully we can rescue them before that happens.

Bacon sandwich

I don’t eat a lot of meat but after I had eaten my yoghurt this morning I imagined that I could smell and taste a bacon sandwich. There was a time that I was a vegetarian but I finally gave in to a bacon sandwich. Very very crispy bacon! My downfall!

Junior doctors

Hundreds of doctors working on the front line during the pandemic have been told that they won’t have jobs in the NHS training scheme from August. Things are looking really bad for them.

17th May

I am really looking forward to the 17th May when hospitality will open indoors and visitors are allowed indoors plus lots of other things.

Karma!

With Scotland wanting independence and Wales wanting more control of itself can you see a time when England is on its own apart from six counties of Ireland. Perhaps it’s karma!

State schools

The Schools Minister announced that, when the government is aware of schools that are not carrying out daily acts of Christian collective worship it will enforce it. The UK is the only sovereign state to impose it in state schools. Many schools ignore the law which is unpopular, outdated and wrong. The government is planning to enforce the law despite the United nations repeatedly calling for the UK to repeal it on human rights grounds.

McDonalds

I dreamt that I took my now deceased elderly parents to a McDonalds. Working out what they would eat and putting their fries in the lids was quite amusing although I am pretty sure they did all that before they died.

Short memories

If what they are saying on the BBC this morning is accurate then the Conservatives will win by quite a bit. People have such short memories.
