The squabbling going on about French fishing rights in the region of Jersey is very worrying. To send in Royal Navy patrol vehicles is perhaps a little premature… what! Are we considering going to war with France. Whatever next… Bloody Brexit!

I heard from the Surgery. My doctor is very happy with the blood pressure readings we sent in to her and the blood tests I had done were all fine. Phew!

My son has just had his first Covid jab. I know he’s an adult but he will always be my baby. I am so relieved that he has now had it.

The details of how to do a lateral flow test were going around in my head for a second morning so I thought that I had better get up and do it. Negative thankfully!

The light bulb blew in my dining room and I leave that light on overnight and I have been given strict instructions from many quarters to no longer climb up a ladder. My very kind neighbour changed it for me.

Like most Saturdays I had a sleep in until nearly nine. Wonderful! Except for the dream that I was having where the blood tests that I have just had done showed that I am now a diabetic. Oh dear!

In a way I do feel sorry for all those poor men who all wear the same outfit. Devoid of colour apart from a tie or pair of socks. All wearing the same sort of suit, shirt  and shoes. Sad! And then, of course, there is the haircut… most of them from an early age!

I saw an item on BBC Breakfast this morning about these poor people who have had their dogs stolen and all the scam calls. Wicked!

I had my second Covid jab yesterday. There was a very very long queue. My arm hurts but so far I just feel a little out of it and I have the shakes but not as bad as last time I think.

I received a scam text message last night. It said that they were Hermes and they had tried to deliver a package and I should rearrange delivery. I started to fill it in but stopped when they asked for card details. How these people sleep at night – what horrible people!
