Sometimes, these days, I will want to remember something and a word or name will pop into my head. I don’t know where from. It feels very odd but sometimes it turns out to be right. After all these years with little or no memory it feels very strange and not at all normal but bloody marvellous!
Mess you up

I do feel for the poor girls today who are sexually harassed and assaulted at school. I went to an all girls school and I was grabbed on the way to and from school. It can really mess you up.
Vaccine trial

There is a trial in the UK into whether the Covid vaccines can be mixed, that is the first and second jabs being different types of injection. They are now hoping it will be expanded by recruiting another 1,000 people to the trial.
Continuous

I checked out the Central Heating timer and I couldn’t see any times on it for ‘off and on ‘. The hot water was off. And I don’t know how to set it. So I put it all on continuous for now.
The shops

The shops are going to open today. They have been closed for ages. It is going to be a very slow easing of lockdown this time. Hopefully it will work. The rolling out of the vaccine is going pretty well.
Cancer

There is a terrible rise in Cancer patients not being treated in England. Both not being reported and not being referred to hospital. Thousands of people may die needlessly from Cancer this year because of this.
The Duke of Edinburgh

The Duke of Edinburgh has died. He always had a twinkle in his eye. Although he always stayed behind the Queen he was a very strong character.

I do feel for these poor women on the television with high heels shoes. I am trying to listen to the news but end up watching their feet shuffling from foot to foot with their feet hurting. I end up missing the news. Not good and not a good example to others!
Very primitive

I have just had a bath and washed my hair. I no longer lie down in the bath because I was worrying that I wouldn’t be able to sit myself up again. Instead I use a plastic jug to wet my hair etc. Very primitive.
