Still taking the tablets…

Snow

They have forecast snow most days this week and I had been hoping to go out. I never go out if there is snow. Just woke up and, as forecast, it is snowing. Brrr…

Ugh!

What do you do when you have a cat that rolls its tongue up to the top of her mouth when you try to put a tablet in and won’t eat the food with the crushed tablets mixed in? Ugh! Especially when one of the tablets is for diarrhoea!

A worry

I still feel a little light headed this morning. I hope that it passes soon. I am supposed to have my jab next week. Bit of a nuisance and a worry.

Covid trial

A UK trial has been launched to see if giving people different Covid vaccines for their first and second doses works as well as the current approach of using the same type of vaccine twice. The government’s taskforce has been given about £7m to find the study.

Her diet

We took my cat to the vets yesterday and she was given a b12 injection and her diet has been completely changed. So we will see.

Diarrhoea

My cat Lily has still got diarrhoea and often on the floor. It reached a point yesterday where she wanted to sit on my knee and I didn’t want her to. That was a first. I did let her but she is very smelly and I felt bad about it. I don’t know what I am going to do.

Captain Tom

Captain Tom has been admitted to hospital for help with his breathing. He has pneumonia and Covid-19 and the 100 year old isn’t in Intensive Care. Hopefully he will make a full recovery.

Poorer countries

The row between the European Commission and AstraZeneca which developed into between UK and European Commission seems to have settled down a little. We do need to get our own vaccines just like everyone else but what we are going to do with our excess of vaccines we don’t know. Hopefully we will give them to the poorer countries.

Fretting

I don’t usually get up until later on a Saturday but my cat had missed her litter tray and I was fretting about what I would do if one of my technology gadgets should die on me because my son sets all my new gadgets up and he can’t get here due to lockdown. So rather than worry I thought I might as well get up.

Strange dream

I had a strange dream early this morning. It was based where I used to work in London and involved many people with Jewish names. My boss was Jewish and I watched a programme about Auschwitz survivors on television two nights ago. It wasn’t a bad dream.
