Still taking the tablets…

Clinically extremely vulnerable

Got up yesterday to the news that the clinically extremely vulnerable – of which I am one  – will start to receive letters about having the Covid vaccine. These are all people who would be extremely unwell and probably wouldn’t live if they were to catch it. I hear that should arrive this week.

Norwich

The number of cases in Norwich is still going up as well as the number of deaths. I know it is worse elsewhere but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t worry. Hopefully it will slow down soon.

Very exciting

It is very exciting. One of my sisters has had her first Covid jab. One down… more to come.

Clamp down

Is the government going to clamp down even more? The first lockdown was stricter. We will just have to wait and see.

That’s scary!

I have just read that people are still infectious even though they have got over Covid  – how long for I don’t know. That’s scary!

Ear infection

I went to the surgery yesterday, my dear friend took me. It was a bit scary going in. Apparently I have an ear infection and I have antibiotic ear drops. It is very difficult to work out how many drops one is putting in.

School

Apparently there were 4% of children sent to school during first lockdown and the figure is over 60% now.

Waiting

Waiting for a call back from the Surgery. It has been suggested to me that rather than it being an ear  infection it might be a relapse of the shingles. So I will just have to wait and see what they say.

Frightening

It is very scary. The number of cases and deaths shooting up. Even staying indoors is very frightening.

My right ear

So I haven’t really felt right for a couple of days. I think it’s all to do with my right ear which hasn’t felt good since I had shingles in it early last year. It has become very sore especially the tube which runs from my ear down to my throat. I feel a bit lightheaded. Will phone the doctor on Monday. No Covid symptoms.
