Still taking the tablets…

Cold symptoms

I woke up this morning with what I call cold symptoms… sore throat, watery eyes, fuzzy head. No Covid symptoms. So I had my breakfast, took my meds and had a very quick bath and washed my hair. I will see what the day brings. I will say that any symptoms at all is very scary.

The cat

So the cat came home along with two more medications. Hopefully that will improve her life. I am really pleased.

Lily

My friend is taking my cat Lily to the vets today – I am shielding! And he doesn’t want me in his car. I don’t know if she still has quality of life or whether I am being selfish in keeping her alive but I will see what the vet says.

Our arsenal

So the UK are now giving the Oxford/AstraZeneca jab. A second vaccine that we have in our arsenal. And soon there will be a third.

The jab

They were saying that the Pfizer vaccine isn’t very protective until one week after the second jab but now they are saying people are protected after the first jab. Makes one wonder what the truth is!

Forgot

I was busy with my cat this morning. She has been poorly. By the time I had spoken to the vets and sorted her I just forgot that I hadn’t said hi on here. Now I am just deciding whether my pain is something serious or absolutely nothing.

Happy New Year

A very happy New Year to everyone – let’s hope it’s better than the last one!!

Lot of respect

I don’t know much about sports personalities but I have a lot of respect for Rob Burrow who is fighting motor neurone disease. He really does deserve to be named in the honours list.

Oxford vaccine

I think I heard that the Oxford vaccine has been approved for use in the UK. It might have been a dream – I will have to listen out for it on the television. Like many other people it is the news that I have been waiting for.

Diarrhoea medicine

So Lily has gone into hiding this morning. I just want to give her some more diarrhoea medicine. Hopefully she will reappear soon!
