We knew ages ago that the Brexiteers wanted a No deal Brexit. And here we are… disaster!!!

I heard from my friends who have recently moved to France. It is taking them a little time to settle in but they have started making friends already. Hopefully their cats are settling in too!

I do my seated online Qigong class each weekday morning which sets me up for the day and exercises not only my mind and body but also my breathing which is very important with my emphysema and asthma.

My two friends who lived at the corner have now moved to France. It feels very odd now that they have gone.

I have woken up with what I think is the common cold. Mainly a snuffly nose and a thick head. I have a friend whose partner is waiting for a test result but probably has it but I haven’t seen them. Hopefully they are clear!

The news today is that the Oxford vaccine will be 70% effectiveness but could be 90% so we will have to wait and see.

I do love Sundays. I don’t stir until late, well, by comparison. Then I have breakfast in bed whilst watching BBC 1. What a treat. Although I do have to feed the cat as well.

My friend went to McDonalds for us. It is a very long time since I had a Big Mac and even longer since I had a chocolate milkshake. Really nice now and then. Felt a bit guilty because he ate his in the car because of lockdown!

Heard back from the vet. She asked a few questions about Lily’s general health and then said she is okay. I am so relieved!

Hopefully I will hear back from the vets in the next few days. I hope Lily is okay especially as it is nearly Xmas. She has lived with me since she was a kitten fifteen years ago.
