Two very nice men came the other day, a father and son, and they insulated my loft. I haven’t been up there before and still haven’t but it does feel more cosy. I know that could be my imagination but I don’t think so!
What now?

I realised after two small glasses of wine that Lily should have her flea treatment. I messed it up and she hardly got any. What now?
Brilliant!!!

My computer has been playing up for a few days. Well, it has been okay but not turning itself off. So I have been going back in and restarting it which usually works but yesterday it didn’t. Then last night my son, who had been working all day, told me what to do. Brilliant!!!
Local store
Sat 5th Dec, at 10:27 am | Deirdre | Diary
The local store that I bought my microwave from over the phone brought out a new one for me and took away the faulty one after I told them that I can’t bring it in due to disability. I will certainly buy from them again!!!
Brexit
Fri 4th Dec, at 09:04 am | Deirdre | Diary
We are in the last few days that a Brexit deal could be done. I hope the government are sensible but I don’t trust them to be. We have left the club so shouldn’t expect to keep the club benefits.
Vaccinations
Thu 3rd Dec, at 09:04 am | Deirdre | Diary
I now know that the clinically extremely vulnerable will be vaccinated in the fourth group with the over 70s but I will soon be 70 anyway.
Covid vaccine
Wed 2nd Dec, at 09:06 am | Deirdre | Diary
Apparently the first Covid vaccine has been approved and they are going to start rolling it out from next week. How soon until they get to me I don’t know but I just have to wait my turn like everyone else.
Highest risk
Tue 1st Dec, at 09:05 am | Deirdre | Diary
I am one of those considered to be at the highest risk from Covid – otherwise known as clinically extremely vulnerable so it is not surprising that I get scared from time to time.
My friend
Mon 30th Nov, at 08:50 am | Deirdre | Diary
As I have been advised by the government to stay home and not to go to the shops and not to mix with people my friend is coming. She is going to take my Xmas cards to the post office and post them for me. What a brilliant friend.
The microwave
Sun 29th Nov, at 11:08 am | Deirdre | Diary
I put a frozen stuffing ball in the microwave to go into my sandwich. It only takes just over a minute. I could smell burning. It was burnt and the microwave full of smoke. I rang the store but they are closed due to lockdown.
