I have had toothache off and on since the first lockdown. I had hoped to put it off until after my vaccination but no, I had to go to the dentist. So I had the tooth taken out yesterday. It was very strange but I got through it.

One of my dear friends who popped by on Sunday (although no closer than the gate) has been told to self isolate for 9 days. She said someone she works with has the virus. Very scary!

I couldn’t get to sleep last night and I couldn’t wake up this morning. Too many things running around in my head that I just found it difficult to wind down.

The number of Covid cases are going up across the country so I am wondering if the relaxed rules over Xmas are going to go ahead. Not that I will be doing much different.

I have been waking very early with such disturbing dreams. I am very anxious what with Covid and Brexit. And then there is everything else. Very distressing!

The Royal Navy are on standby in case European fishermen continue fishing in our waters. I never thought I would see the British Navy making a stand against Europe. Like history repeating itself.

I had a lie-in this morning but I was fretting about a dream. It seemed so important but it was just going over a storyline in Emmerdale. Hopeless!

The Prime Minister seems to think it’s funny that we will probably leave the European Union without a deal. But he always wanted that anyway, didn’t he?

So two people out of thousands who have just had a Covid vaccination had an allergic reaction. I suppose the anti-vaxers will be pleased. The medical profession are being very careful.

I wondered if they were going to show the Jesse Stone series again this Xmas on one of the ‘5’ channels. The bumper two weeks TV Times guide arrived yesterday and yes, they will be shown Christmas week, all except one. I think they are well worth watching. Excellent photography and music and well written.
