Still taking the tablets…

Needing more sleep

Feeling a little better so far this morning but didn’t stir until late and worrying I won’t wake up in time for my handyman who is coming at 9.00 tomorrow. Only because I am not completely well and needing more sleep at the moment.

My cat Lily

I didn’t wake up until 9.00 and my cat Lily was trying to pee in the corners of the house. So I had to take her to the vets because she has cystitis too. What a pair we are!

Urine infection

I went to the Walk in Centre yesterday where I was told that I have a urine infection and given antibiotics. I have felt really unwell as they battle the infection.

Ridiculous shoes

I feel for all those poor feet which are contorted into peculiar positions by their ridiculous shoes. I am just looking at a pair in really high shoes on the BBC – they look really painful.

Photochromic lenses

So I phoned the opticians and they said they hadn’t put photochromic lenses in my new specs and I would have to pay for them if I want them. As I have cataracts I did.

Whatever it is

I have been worrying about the new lenses the opticians are making up for me (free of charge) and hoping that they are still photo whatever it is lenses that darken in the sun. I will have to phone them a little later.

Do our best

Some people complain that we are eating more junk food than in the past and also about the lack of upbringing for our children but these days both men and women have to go out to work to pay the bills. I had to go back to work when my son was two – I wanted to stay home and have another child but we couldn’t afford it. We can all just do our best.

To my rescue

My son and his partner came to remove the dressing on my back which I couldn’t reach and to do a few other things. Nobody else volunteered and my son and his partner came to my rescue.

Thank goodness

Went to see the opticians and they couldn’t have been nicer. They are ordering new lenses for me and no charge. Thank goodness for that. It means I have had to go back to wearing my old glasses which look really shabby.

Discharged

The District Nurse discharged me but I can’t reach the dressing on my back to remove it. I am going to have to get help with that.
