Social Distancing is going down from 2 metres to 1 plus. Don’t know how safe that is – we will have to keep a close watch on that!
My feet
Tue 23rd Jun, at 09:18 am | Deirdre | Diary
My chiropodist came yesterday. She was in her PPE and I was wearing my mask covered in cats. It was such a relief to have my feet done – my toenails had been hurting. Phew!
Reading
Mon 22nd Jun, at 08:22 am | Deirdre | Diary
I don’t know how anyone can take another’s life. People stabbed in Reading – three died – I don’t know how anybody could do it. Horrible!
Completely overslept
Sun 21st Jun, at 10:34 am | Deirdre | Diary
I completely overslept this morning. It is really difficult to enjoy breakfast in bed when I am aware that I have to get up very soon.
My roof
Sat 20th Jun, at 10:42 am | Deirdre | Diary
My roof is leaking again – I have water coming in through my airing cupboard ceiling. Hopefully it won’t cost too much and it doesn’t rain again until after Wednesday when the guy is coming.
I don’t understand
Fri 19th Jun, at 10:03 am | Deirdre | Diary
What I don’t understand is why some women wear a head covering for modesty and yet wear full eye make up, lipstick and even nail polish. I just don’t understand!
Pouring down
Thu 18th Jun, at 08:57 am | Deirdre | Diary
It is pouring down here and I have water coming in through my airing cupboard ceiling. Unfortunately my guy can’t come out to look at it this week. I just checked the weather report and there is lots of rain forecast over the next few days.
Post-herpetic neuralgia
Wed 17th Jun, at 09:09 am | Deirdre | Diary
Apparently I don’t still have shingles – I have post-herpetic neuralgia which some people get after shingles. I should get some stronger painkillers delivered today.
Far right
Tue 16th Jun, at 10:08 am | Deirdre | Diary
We saw the far right doing their thing again at the weekend. It is, as always, very worrying but they are a fairly small group thankfully!
Really pretty
Mon 15th Jun, at 09:50 am | Deirdre | Diary
My front garden is so pretty. With the foxgloves and the roses in full bloom and the forget-me-nots and other wild flowers on the ground. Really pretty.
