I am trying not to spend any money because I owe my good friend money she paid for my new mattress which is payable now that Xmas is over. So I must be good. Thank goodness for the most appreciated kindness of my friends.

My television in my bedroom isn’t working properly again. Whether it’s the wiring again or it could be the problem with the weather with Freeview at the moment. The problem with the weather is going to last all week and an Electrician is coming to check the wiring next week. Either way…
The fires

The fires in Australia are pretty fierce and I am glad I live nowhere near them. I do have family in Melbourne though so very worrying. I wouldn’t wish the fires on anyone!
Twig tree

I spent a lot of the day tidying up and putting things away. There is nothing much on the television and I didn’t want to drink much. On the plus side my new fibre optic twig tree arrived to replace the one I had which died Xmas morning.
Belated Xmas

My son and his partner came yesterday for a belated Xmas. That mostly meant a roast beef dinner which they cooked and cleared up afterwards. We are non believers. It was really good to see them!
