Still taking the tablets…

Hong Kong

Hong Kong democracy parties have won a landslide election victory over backers of the Chinese government in support of the pro-democracy protests.

Lily

I don’t get up until 9.00 on a Sunday when I go downstairs, feed the cat and bring breakfast back to bed. This morning my cat Lily kept miaowing from quite early. I couldn’t stand the noise so I gave up in the end and got up.

Question Time

I stayed up relatively late last night to watch the Question Time Leader Special on the television. Really tired this morning. I had a dream about having a watch with an edible case… absolute nonsense!!

Sick

I sat on the sofa first thing and something felt a bit damp. I looked down and Lily had brought up her food on the seat. I suppose something like this was going to happen sometime!

Fish and chips

My friend came after work yesterday, going to the fish and chips shop on the way. I opened a bottle of shiraz. I hadn’t had fish and chips for quite some time. Yummy!

ITV debate

I watched the Corbyn/Johnson debate on TV last night. Corbyn certainly came out on top. I tried to stay up for the other leaders interviews later but I couldn’t stay awake.

Absolute nonsense

When I am waking up in the mornings I am in the middle of a very complicated dream which makes me worry at some intricate problem. Absolute nonsense of course!

My letterbox

My letterbox has fallen to bits. As I have a plastic door I wasn’t sure what could be done but, apparently, it can be replaced. Thank goodness! In the meantime there is a draught.

My befriender

My befriender from age UK usually comes on a Sunday for an hour but she came yesterday this weekend. She is refreshingly young and we have become good friends over the two years she has been coming. She also helps me a lot with technology. I really can’t imagine my life without her in it.

Euromillions

I have won on the Euromillions. What will I do with it all?… all £2.70 of it.
