Still taking the tablets…

Sinister

I put the BBC news channel on yesterday and they were talking outside parliament. Usually there are different types of flags – lots of European Union  and Union Jacks plus UKIP, brexit etc. When I looked yesterday all of the European Union flags had gone – there were just the others – it looked pretty sinister.

Faith schools

It is time that faith schools in this country were done away with. Children of all faiths should mix at school and religious lessons should be taught as myths and legends not as fact.

The television

The television in my bedroom has been playing up. I had a connector replaced yesterday but that hasn’t solved the problem. This morning the wire became detached from the metal bit which should be on the end. Hopefully it can be fixed.

General election

So the government’s time table has been voted against so let’s see if we get an extension and then a General election.

One’s body

I have just seen an item on the BBC about donating one’s body to a school of anatomy after one has died and that seems like a good idea. The family do receive the ashes back a few years later.

My back!

My back is so painful that I can’t see me going to my exercise class (Lung Club) for some time. Really annoying!

An amendment

An amendment was passed that wants us to get another extension just to be sure and the Prime Minister said he would not ask for one but I believe he did in the end.Hopefully we will get one!

A deal

So we have another deal to be voted on in the Commons… we will have to wait and see what happens next!!

Extinction Rebellion

Extinction Rebellion’s two weeks of protest are not yet up when tempers get the better of people at Canning Town tube station resulting in someone getting beaten up. Not nice to see!

Doctors

I went to the doctors yesterday because I am in a lot of back pain. Also abdominal pain. She has sent me for blood tests and I will have to go back.
