Goodness knows what is going to happen in parliament and the European Union concerning a deal/no deal. It is an important week!
Funny

On watching TV yesterday morning there was a young female Sikh saying that if you visit a Sikh temple you have to cover your head and take your shoes off. I was brought up as a Catholic and women used to have to put hats on whereas men had to take hats off. Just struck me as funny.
Tiresome!

All the secrecy about the deal by the government is rather tiresome! I know they think they are being clever but they really are not!
Sorry for myself

I am feeling sorry for myself. My right arm is back in a sling because my tennis elbow is very painful. And when I got out of the bath yesterday my lower back went into muscle spasm so it really hurts when I move. Ugh!

Now that the Americans have pulled out of Syria Turkey has started bombing the Kurds. Islamic State must be delighted!
Ashamed!

What has been happening on Brexit is very worrying. I am a Labour voter but still it makes me feel ashamed!
Scaffolding tower

Spent another night on the sofa. Waiting for handyman who is coming today with a scaffolding tower to fix my roof. Hopefully that will be it.
Bedroom ceiling

I was sitting watching TV in bed when I realised water was coming through the bedroom ceiling. I tried my handyman but he couldn’t come until today. Discovered I was covered by insurance but, although they said they were coming, they didn’t because of the rain in Norfolk. Hopefully help will arrive today!
A struggle!

I made it sound so easy yesterday. I spent all of the rest of the day trying to get another tablet into her. I managed to get about half a pill into her by late evening. She slept so peacefully and I was exhausted… what a struggle!
