Still taking the tablets…

The Prime Minister

The Prime Minister went to Scotland. It didn’t go down too well which doesn’t surprise me but I am a Labour voter. I wonder how long this premiership will last.

Glastonbury

I have been emailed by an old boyfriend that I went out with in 1970. It was really nice to share how his life went and also mine. We went to the first Glastonbury festival together and he tells me that he goes every year with his wife. Very interesting!

So hot!

It has been so incredibly hot  – I am so glad it has cooled down. I suppose, with Climate change, we are going to see a lot more of this.

Washing machine

My new washing machine is up and running. I am now working out how it works whilst trying to get my mounds of washing done. Ugh!

Thunderstorm

We had a thunderstorm last night. I must admit they frighten me, especially at night. I don’t freak out or anything – I am just aware that I am scared!

The Cabinet

So lots of the government have been sacked or resigned and the new Cabinet are very far right. Goodness knows what will happen next!

Boris

So Boris has done it – our next Prime Minister. I will give him a chance but don’t think much of him so far!

Urine sample

I had to get a urine sample from my cat Lily and take it to the vets. It was very hot outside. The vet phoned me later. Her sample was clear. Usually it is full of bacteria. So it is very good news.

Political parties

All sorts happening in political parties today. Liberal Democrats new leader to be announced today, Tory leadership contest votes have to be in today and Labour in an absolute mess.

Hong Kong

Another pro-democracy demonstration in Hong Kong. Goodness knows what will happen there!
